Inlay

Inlay is the name for indirectly modeled fillings that are made in a laboratory. During caries removal, a tooth is grinded as for making any other fillings, which is followed by cavity preparation, whereby some laws of grinding must be followed, which will enable laboratory making of inlays.

Inlay fillings can be made from composites, gold or ceramics, and in our laboratory, because of its advantages, we manufacture only ceramic inlay. The same is biocompatible, fits aesthetically and is a good insulator. In the laboratory, it is baked layer by layer, and therefore its production is complex and expensive.
